Welcome to IQPlot ("we", "us", "the site"), an online cognitive self-assessment at iqplot.com. Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site.
1. What the site is
IQPlot offers a self-administered online assessment that estimates a score on the standard IQ scale (mean 100, standard deviation 15) and gives a breakdown across several cognitive domains. The test is for educational, informational, and self-reflective purposes only. It is not a clinical, diagnostic, psychometric, or professional evaluation, and it is not a substitute for assessment by a licensed psychologist using a normed instrument. You should not rely on the result for educational placement, employment, medical, legal, or other important decisions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the site. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. The free test and the optional paid report
You can take the test and see a summary of your result without paying. A more detailed report and certificate may be offered for a one-time fee. The price shown at checkout, including any promotional discount, is the price that applies to that purchase. Promotional offers, countdowns, and discounts shown on the site are marketing features and may change at any time.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Polar. By making a purchase you also agree to Polar's terms. We do not store your full card details. After a successful payment, the full report is unlocked in your browser. If you clear your browser data, you may need to repeat the test; contact support if you have trouble restoring access to something you paid for.
5. Refunds
The paid report is a digital product that is delivered and unlocked immediately at the time of purchase. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: we refund a purchase if you were charged but the report did not unlock, if you were charged more than once or in error, or if the product was materially not as described, and we offer a 14-day goodwill refund where the report has not been substantially used. Dissatisfaction with the score itself is not a product fault. Where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you a refund or withdrawal right that cannot be waived, that right still applies. 6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the site for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems; scrape, copy, or republish the questions, content, or design at scale; interfere with or disrupt the site; circumvent the paywall or any technical limits; or use automated tools to take the test in a way that distorts analytics or abuses promotions.
7. Intellectual property
The site, including its text, questions, scoring logic, design, and graphics, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may take the test for personal use and download or share your own certificate. You may not otherwise reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the site's content without our permission.
8. Certificates
A certificate generated by the site reflects the result of a self-administered online test. It is not an officially recognized credential and carries no accreditation. You are responsible for how you present or share it.
9. Disclaimers
The site and the test are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any score is accurate or reliable. Cognitive performance varies between sittings; a result reflects performance under the conditions of that sitting only.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site, the test, or any result or certificate. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Changes to the site and these terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time. We may also update these terms; when we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
